In related news, I love spending hours - days on a piece to upload it on to DevianTart where it gets 2 views in an hour while a candid photograph of two people in a 'flirtatious' pose in cosplay soars high on the waves of kawaii!! XDDDD -fav-. I know my skills aren't flawless but I could at least be overshadowed by something that actually deserves it. Oh DA, you abusive lover you. |

Urgh. Is is the national 'Get Moody With Jay For No Reason' day or something?
I'm going to be downstairs microwaving some neighbourhood cats if anyone needs me. |

The barbeque went pretty much just as I was expecting;
Mum: JAY. YOU CAN'T JUST EAT CHICKEN. GET SOME SALAD. Me: I don't want any. I'm fine. Mum: Shall I put some on your plate for you? Me: No, I'm okay. Mum: How about some pasta salad? Me: No... I'm happy with the chicken for now. -gets burger five minutes later- Mum: EATING A BURGER THERE? Me: ... Mum: You should have some salad. -places lone cherry tomato on plate- Mum: YOU NEED MORE THAN THAT. Me: I got loads, I ate it when no one was looking.
And on it went for some time until I decided I was about as full of meat as I was going to get and retreated back to my bedroom.
Fairly busy week ahead. I have to do all this art for the school commission (which has turned out less exciting than I had hoped), make a t-shirt for Kurt's birthday (he asked for it... not like I'm scrounging my way out of a gift there), go out with Lucy one day, go to see Lee and Jordan on Tuesday, go to Kurt's party on Saturday. Urgh. I'm used to one slightly exciting thing happening a week. Confusion. |

Today I purchased a black plain t-shirt from Topman and painted the word PUPPYKICKER on it in yellow. I'm in that sort of mood.
Finally on the summer break. (Officially now.) I also got myself a copy of Flowers in the Attic by Virginia Andrews. Incest-related fiction has a really odd appeal to me lately. I'm looking for some decent novels that feature dysfunctional families that I can compare with Cement Garden for my A2 English Lit. Flowers might be a bit too similar but... fancied reading it anyway.
Stuff is so expensive. I was looking at the graphic novels in Kulture Shock... that place has always charged an arm, a leg and your immortal soul for anything but come on... twenty quid for a book? It's like the third time I've gone in there, not bought something and left receiving odd looks from the staff. I'm not sure if it's because they think I'm a shoplifter or because they want to do me. Most likely the first notion, since I wear hoodies a lot. I found a Rachel Stamp album in HMV and that was a fortune too... buying online really is better but oddly isn't as satisfying. |

I'm pretty much all done for the school year now, which is nice. My school is commissioning me to do some artwork for a book for the German department over the summer, which I'll get up to £35 for. I don't know if that's good or bad in terms of payment but it's more than I've ever been offered for anything before so I'm pleased. |

Okay so I didn't keep the old name for very long, but it was starting to annoy me. I couldn't log on from most public places and it was probably messing up some friends pages for the same reason. So now here's a lovely U-rated name based on one of my favourite books from when I was a little ginger worm-baby. For those in doubt or a state of confusion, hullo, it's Jay here, back from the depths of the creepy hole known as Norwich looking messy and smelling slightly of smoke and pencil lead. I've added anyone I liked from my old journal which was... pretty much everyone. Hope you don't mind. Just eff and blind at me if you do. |
